# RhinestoneTemplate

> Browser tools for turning artwork into rhinestone dot templates, previewing lettering, checking stone sizes, and planning transfers. Image processing and file generation happen on the user's device.

The image maker accepts PNG, JPEG, and WebP files, up to 12 MB and 24 megapixels. It does not import PDF drawings or SVG source files. JavaScript and Canvas support are required. Simple, high-contrast silhouettes and bold line drawings work best; detailed photographs can produce noisy patterns.

The user sets a tone threshold, optional tone inversion, cut-hole diameter, gap between holes, and finished width in millimeters. The free maker samples a square grid and exports an SVG containing individual circles at physical dimensions. It also shows stone count and finished size and exports a calibration-strip SVG. The SVG is a geometric draft: verify its imported dimensions and make a small test cut with the actual stones, flock, blade, and cutter.

The Pro ZIP contains a layered SVG, separate SVGs per stone color when using two colors, a PDF tiled at actual size across US Letter or A4 sheets with overlap marks and a check bar, a summary of stone counts and gross to buy with 10% spare, and a readme with the settings. Free template SVG and calibration-strip downloads remain free.

## Reproducible examples and limits

The image maker's "Try a sample design" button loads a built-in dark heart with a gray star inside. It demonstrates a silhouette, an inner edge, and a second tone: compare the free square grid with Pro outline or honeycomb previews, then enable a second color to include the gray star. The starter-template page also lets users select and resize the site's original heart or star. These examples are generated by the actual tools, not reports of customer results.

The maker does not provide manual vector-path editing, mixed stone sizes within one image template, production nesting, or guaranteed machine compatibility. SS labels and on-screen measurements cannot account for physical cutting tolerances. It does not grant rights to uploaded artwork, wording, marks, or installed fonts.
